Hotel Alexandra

Compostela Suites

In Madrid, closed to Barajas Airport a new resort of Tourist Apartments has been opened in 2009. Distributed in four luminous buildings, surrounding a big central space with outside air facilities, is an ideal selection for short and long stays for leisure or business reasons. Compostela Suites is located next to Barajas Airport, Fair Centre Ifema "Campo de las Naciones", Madrid Congress Palace, Shopping Centre "Plenilunio". Enjoy the outdoor swimming pool. You can relax yourself in the hammocks while children play in the game area, or maybe you will prefer playing padel in our fantastic padel track. In our coffee shop you can have lunch where you can taste our gastronomy. If you prefer you can have lunch or dinner in your apartment, all of them are equipped with independent kitchen, so you can make your choice. The four buildings consist in 428 apartments with bedroom, complete bathroom, dining room and an independent fully equipped kitchen with optional kitchenware. We also offer Free WiFi in the public areas. Up first September 2009, we offer a shuttle service from/to Hotel- Airport from Monday to Friday during morning and evening under request.

Hostal Cantabrico

The Hostal Cantábrico was founded in 1890. It is located in the centre of Madrid, near the Prado Museum and the Real Palace. The hostel has 105 rooms all with bath and colour TV. We prepare in our restaurant a daily affordable menu base in typical home-made Spanish food. More than three generations since 1890 has been dedicated to the service of the visitors of this hotel with familiar atmosphere. Most of our visitors are groups of young people, sportsmen and tourists in cultural trip. We like much the atmosphere of the hotel , self-assured, jovial and friendly. A privileged location: What would you like to do in Madrid? If you would like to make cultural visits, the most representative museums and monuments of Madrid are close to the Hostal Cantábrico: the Museums of the Prado, the Museum of Thyssen and the Museum of Bellas Artes San Fernando. Also taking a sort walk you can be in the Palacio Real in La Puerta del Sol, and in the Plaza Mayor…. To go shopping you can take a walk to Preciados street, one of the most commercial avenues in Europe. There, you will find all class of stores and department stores. If what you like are the “popular markets”, you have the “Rastro” on Sundays, whose nearest referring are “Las Pulgas” of Paris or “Portobello” of London. There are five theatres in a radius of 200 meters; Alcázar, Reina Victoria, Comedia, Español and Calderón. If you think in going to the movies you just have to walk few meters to arrive at the most important cinemas in original version of Madrid, the Ideal Cinemas. Huertas is the most lively area of Madrid, the Street of Huertas and Santa Ana Place are typical to go for “Tapas” at anytime of the day or night and to have a drink at night.

Hotel Asturias

A stay in the Hotel Asturias is truly a pleasure, not only owing to its superb location in the heart of Madrid – only 200 meters from the Puerta del Sol – but also because the most commercial and cultural area of our city is just a pleasant stroll away. Polanski Ii

The Polanski apartment is ideal for a large family or for a group of friends sharing. There are three bedrooms (one double and two with a twin) and a living room complete with sofa bed and dining table. The apartment also has a TV/DVD player, Internet connection, bathroom with bathtub, fully equipped kitchen and central heating throughout. It’s located on the SECOND floor, with a lift, and is only 200m from the entrance to the La Latina metro station. The Polanski apartment is only 10 mins away Plaza de la Opera. It’s the perfect apartment from which to explore the city centre, and it’s just round the corner from the district market and public parking. The La Latina district is constantly changing, yet still manages to preserve the true charm of Madrid. Situated very close to the Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace, and full of bars and restaurants, it’s also home to the most famous market in Madrid, the Rastro flea market, which takes place every Sunday and on holidays in and around the Cascarro square. Further points of interest in the vicinity are the San Francisco Church, the Plaza de la Paja and Las Vistillas (one of the best viewpoints in Madrid), amongst others. The apartment is ideally located for visiting the city centre on foot, as well as for experiencing the streets of Segovia, Bailén and also Toledo – from which you can access the Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol. These are only 5 mins. from the apartment. You can find in the surrounding area some of the most traditional restaurants in Madrid, such as Botín or Casa Lucio, as well as many bars and nightclubs.
