We’ve just had brunch here and it was absolutely spectacular. It was our first time trying vegan poached eggs and they were genuinely mind-blowing. The texture and flavour are incredibly close to traditional hen’s eggs — but even better knowing they’re completely cruelty-free. Such a creative and impressive dish. The interior is very cute and cosy, and the atmosphere is chilled and laid-back — the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable and want to stay a while. If you’re in Madrid and curious about plant-based food (or already love it), this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back. 🌱
I have been to Madrid 2 times, and I have eaten at Frutas Prohibidas 3 times. Very yummy. I come mostly for the vegan egg dishes but all of their food looks incredible. The service is good, they can speak english and are patient when I attempt to speak Spanish. Smoothies delicious.
great place to enjoy a nice brunch, with quality being the real star of the experience. The food is fresh, well prepared, and clearly made with attention to detail. Service is very good—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. On weekends, it’s best to come early if you want a good table. I’m not sure if reservations are available, but I walked in right at opening time on a weekend and was seated immediately. Definitely a spot worth visiting for a relaxed and quality brunch.
Actually the best vegan brunch spots in which I’ve ever eaten. Especially savoury dishes are really delicious and everything is also prepared with great care and attention to detail. Apart from that, the coffee is fabulous, strong and perfect, unusual flavour. Definitely coming back!!!
Everything is amazing. We’ve been back twice just to try different things each time. It’s all the moar delicious!! I’m not vegan. Not even vegetarian. But could be easily with this food!
